Patricia Anne Antonissen (Graunke), of Woodbury, Min., formerly of Niagara, went to heaven Sunday, February 17, 2013, from her residence at The Alton Memory Care Unit in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Born in a log cabin in Danbury, Burnette County, Wis., on February 23, 1933, to Robert and Gertrude Graunke. Patricia received a Bachelor's Degree for Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh in 1958. Patricia married Arthur Antonissen on April 11, 1959, in Marinette.
She was a talented pianist and vocalist, including singing in the church choir. Patricia enjoyed quilting, gardening, traveling, reading, attending Bible studies and time at the cabin with her family. She held various teaching positions throughout the years starting with second grade in Neenah.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Arthur, of 53 years; her daughters, Lynn (Dave Bauer) grandchildren, Derek, Kaitlin and Drew of Inver Grove Heights, MN and Lori (Rev. Todd Jenks) grandchildren Jeremy, Jocelyn and Donovan of Ames, IA; her sister, Roberta (Darwin) Peterson of Marinette and her brother Loren (Violet) Graunke of Neenah.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wulff Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Drive, Woodbury, MN. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Woodbury United Methodist Church, 7465 Steepleview Road,Woodbury, with a luncheon to follow.
A Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 22, 2013, at the Niagara Cemetery, Niagara, with a Memorial Service immediately following at 11:00 a.m., Friday at Riverside United Methodist Church, Niagara. Rev. Jean Larson will officiate.
