Opal A. Baird, 100, of Norway, Mich., passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at Maryhill Manor, Niagara, Wis. She was born on January 29, 1910, in Davenport, Iowa, daughter of the late Burrell and Augusta (Burmeister) Stickler. Opal married Lowell Baird in 1960 in Greenville, Mich. He preceded her in death in January, 2000. Survivors include a niece, Patricia (Mickey) Horwitz, Norway; a nephew, Richard Butcher, Ariz.; special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Enbody and family, Greenville. Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Baird; two sisters, Alpha Wendt and Mabel Butcher.
