Norman K. Olson, 83, of Channing, passed away Monday, February 4, 2013, at Northstar Health System, Iron River. He was born September 7, 1929, in Kempton, Ill., son of the late Glenn and Margaret (Morse) Olson. Norman married Patricia Crandall on November 26, 1977, in Kankakee, Ill. She survives. Norman served in the United States Air Force. He was a chemical engineer for Armour Pharmaceuticals in Kankakee, retiring in 1992. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia; two sons, Steven Olson, Channing, Jimmie (Frances) Olson, Pine Bluff, Ark.; two grandchildren, Michael Olson and Laura Olson. In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by one infant son, David Olson; brother, Leon Olson, and twin brother, Orman Olson; and one sister, Dorelda Boundy.
