Fence- Norman A. "Norm" Mountjoy, 65, of Waupaca, Wis., passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020, at his cabin in Fence. He was born on December 8, 1954 in Milwaukee, Wis., son of the late Donald and Anna (Mazzarolli) Mountjoy. Norm grew up in the Town of Erin and graduated from Hartford Union High School, Hartford, Wis., class of 1973. He was a member of the Milwaukee Carpenters Union where he worked on bridge construction throughout Wisconsin for many years until he retired in 2011. Norm and his long-time companion, Sharon McLain, resided in Waupaca. He enjoyed spending his summers in Fence and was an avid NASCAR fan, Green Bay Packer fan, who enjoyed riding Harley's, hunting, the outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his companion, Sharon McLain, Waupaca, Wis.; one son, Jacob Mountjoy, Waupaca, Wis.; and one sister, Kathy Stritesky, Burlington, Wis. In addition to his parents, Norm was preceded in death by one brother, Donnie Mountjoy. In accordance with Norm's wishes a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
