Niles Gerald Michaud Hiltunen, 14, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He was born April 17, 1995, in Appleton, Wis., son of David Hiltunen and Grace Michaud. Niles attended Florence School. Niles loved to swim at the Ski-Ter dock with his family and friends. He enjoyed watching Disney and Pixar movies, his favorite movie was Toy Story. Niles also loved to listen to music by the Beatles and he enjoyed classic rock. So many lives he has touched while here. Niles is now a hero through organ donation. He will save eight lives, bring sight to two people, and help many more. He is survived by his parents, David and Grace, Spread Eagle; one brother, Evan Hiltunen, at home; one sister, Stephanie Hiltunen, at home; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Rosie Michaud, Spread Eagle; two aunts, Norma (Gary) Apolskis, Florence, Joan Mier, Spread Eagle; five uncles, Dick Hiltunen, Baraga, Mich., Tom (Jane) Hiltunen, California, Don Hiltunen, Arizona, Gary Michaud, Terry Michaud, both of Spread Eagle; many cousins and other relatives. Niles was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Norman and Sally Hiltunen; and an aunt, Charlene Hiltunen.
