Crystal Falls- Nancy C. Certa, 77, of Crystal Falls, Mich., passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020 at her home. She was born December 4, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late John and Alice (Davey) Severyns. Nancy grew up in Chicago and graduated from Tuley High School, class of 1961. She was united in marriage to John Certa on October 25, 1969. He preceded her in death on May 30, 2019. Nancy is survived by her four sons, Ken Cygan, John Certa Jr., Jerry Certa and Tim Certa; and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, John, Nancy was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Porto. In accordance with Nancy's wishes, private family services will be held.
