Niagara – Nancy C. Butterfield, 88, of Niagara, Wisc., passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at her home with her family by her side.

Nancy was born on December 12, 1935, in Bedford, Ind., to the late David and Dorothy (Pruett) Sims.

She married William "Bill" Butterfield on December 29, 1959, he preceded her in death in February of 2019.

She is survived by her sons, David (DeAnna) Butterfield, Howard (Veronica) Butterfield, David W. Butterfield, Stephen (Chris) Butterfield, Brian (Robin) Butterfield and Randy Butterfield; daughters, Cindy (Keith) Annear, Lori Walters, and Christine Cazzola; brother, Wayne (Eleanor) Sims; sister, Veronica (Moe) Anderson; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, William "Bill" Butterfield; sons, Steven Butterfield, and William Butterfield, Jr.; grandson, Christopher Annear; granddaughters, Nicole Butterfield, and Shelly Connery; brothers, John Sims, and David Sims; sister, Brenda Sims; and sister-in-law, Peggy Sims.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Niagara Cemetery with Pastor Debra Spira officiating.
