Crystal Falls-Miriam A. Lensing, age 95, of Crystal Falls, Mich., passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls, Mich.

She was born May 8, 1923, in Waukegan, Ill., daughter of the late John and Anna (Kuaciac) Machnich. Miriam grew up and graduated school in Illinois. She worked as a clerk at Consumers Credit Union in Lake Villa, Ill. for 32 years and was a member of SNPJ. Miriam moved to Crystal Falls in October of 2008.

She enjoyed crocheting, reading, baking, music, dancing and signing with her grandchildren and especially the time spent with her family.

Survivors include two sons, Steve (Karen) Lensing, Waukegan, Ill. and Jeff (Kathy) Lensing, Amasa, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Shaun, Justin (Christine), Matthew, Jeremy, Michael (Julie) Visocnik, Nick and Maggie (Dave) Faeger; ten great-grandchildren, Kort, Kyle, Michael, Hanna, Vivi, Tessa, Addie, Jazmine, Audrey and Desmond; and one great-great-grandson, Parker.

In addition to her parents, Miriam was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Bert Machnich.

In accordance with Miriam's wishes private family services will be held.
