Mildred Bosko, 82, of Crystal Falls, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. She was born on August 18, 1928, in Crystal Falls, daughter of the late Norman and Eva (Peterson) Widstrand. Mildred married Robert Harrington in 1946. He preceded her in death on November 1, 1973. She later married John Bosko. He preceded her in death on October 11, 1996. Mildred was a lifelong resident of Crystal Falls. She was a member of the Guardian Angels Catholic Church and was a cook for Crystal Manor. Survivors include, one son, Gerald M. (Marilyn) Harrington, Sheboygan, Wis.; three daughters, Betty (Leon) Fabbri, Crystal Falls, Roberta Jackson, Crystal Falls, Barbara (Ron) Almond, Madison, Wis.; one sister, Bette Majeski, Albuquerque, N.M; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Widstrand, Warren Widstrand; two sisters, Ellen Stockero, Ruth Blix; and one great-granddaughter, Ashley. Visitation will be Saturday, January 22, 2011, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Saturday at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls. Rev. Fr. Jeffrey Kurtz will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls.
