Obituary

Michael B. Honeycutt, 45, of Crystal Falls, Mich. passed away, unexpectedly, Saturday, September 19, 2015. He was born January 30, 1970, in Detroit, Mich. son of the late Nathan and Trudy (Emery) Honeycutt. Mike grew up in Florence and graduated from Florence High School. He spent most of his time driving truck and was very proud of his work. Mike enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. A year ago, Mike bought his Uncle Dean's Harley and started riding; he said "there was no experience like it and riding makes me feel special." He is survived by one son, Cory Evans, Florence; two brothers, Ernie (Laurie Reichl) Honeycutt, Milwaukee, Wis. and Bill Honeycutt, Florence; his fiancée, Victoria Soulier; one nephew, Brunell Honeycutt, Florence and many aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Burnell "Jim" and Eleanore Meyers and one uncle, Dennis "Butch" Emery. Visitation will be held Friday, October 2, 2015, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence. A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
