Michael F. Condroski, 69, of Iron Mountain, formerly of Florence, Wis., passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, Iron Mountain. Michael was born November 10, 1939, in Big Bay, Mich., son of the late Frank and Rose Condroski. At a young age, Michael moved to Florence and graduated from Florence High. During his young adult years, Michael was a very good amateur boxer. Michael served in the U.S. Army. Upon being discharged from the service, he resided in Illinois, where he was a police officer for 20 years. After his retirement he lived in Florence, Iron River and Marquette before moving to Iron Mountain in 2003. He enjoyed weightlifting and working out in his spare time. Michael is survived by two sons, Michael Condroski, Glen Heights, Tex., Daniel Condroski, Richmond Hill, Ga.; one daughter, Christina (Jeff) Kampe, Royse, Tex.; one brother, Joseph Condroski, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Samantha, Kimberly, Terri, Justin; one great-granddaughter, Airanna.
