Michael E. Barczak, 64, of Beecher, Wis., passed away Monday, November 12, 2012, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain.
He was born October 3, 1948, in Chicago, Ill., son of Joan (Zboralski) Barczak and the late Edward Barczak. Michael grew up in Chicago and graduated from Gordon Tech. High School, Class of 1965. He married Lee Ann Hall on November 15, 1970, in Chicago. They resided in Chicago until 1974, at which time they moved to Kingsford. They resided there until 1987, before moving to Aurora, Wis., and finally moving to Beecher in 1998.
Michael worked for Perry of Norway Printing Company from 1975 until retiring in 1989. He enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, bird watching, fishing, and he along with his wife, rescued dogs from the shelter for over 25 years.
He will be missed by his family and numerous friends.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Lee Ann; one son, Matthew (Erika) Barczak, Green Bay; one daughter, Jennifer Barczak, Waupun, Wis.; one brother, Edward (Nancy) Barczak, Appleton; two grandchildren, Ethan Michael and Emma Barczak.
Private family visitation was held. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
