Goodman – Maurice E. Casper, Sr., 88, of Goodman, WI, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson, Iron Mountain, MI.

He was born on September 15, 1938, in Chicago, IL, to the late Maurice E., Sr., and Bernice May (Clark) Casper.

He served in the United States Navy from 1957 until his honorable discharge in 1963. He loved hunting, fishing, trap shooting, and his drag racing days with the Shake Rattle and Run car.

Maurice is survived by his sons, Matthew Casper, Mark (Barbara) Casper, and Maurice Casper, Jr.; daughter, Michaelene (Jerome) Luedke; sisters, Lois (Peter) Bartolini, Diane (Timothy Scanlan) Suhrbier, and Dawn Wiebold; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Casper; sisters, Janice Morris, and Bernice Brandt; granddaughters, Jamie Lynn Carole Casper, and Caroleann Luedke; and the mother of his children, Carole Ann Casper.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Glenview Cemetery, Goodman, WI with Father Soja Joseph officiating. Military Honors will be presented by VFW Post 7444.
