Obituary

Mathew Marcouiller, 15, of Niagara, Wis., our gift from God, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at his home. He was born September 24, 1991, in Iron Mountain, Mich., son of Kristie (Kuester) Marcouiller and Mark Marcouiller. He is survived by his parents, Mark Marcouiller, Kristie Marcouiller (Jim Markell and his sons, Nicholas, Nathan, Noah Markell); one brother, Cory Marcouiller; two step-brothers, Eddie Sundquist (Ashley Gunville), Mark Marcouiller; one step-sister, Amanda (Andy) Quandt; six aunts, Robin (John) Trulock, Brenda (Scott) Pancheri, Tina Marcouiller (Bob White), Renee (Darrel) Nicks, Tracy (Chris) Marcouiller, Cyndi (Tony) Erspamer; two uncles, John (Marie) Kuester, Brian (Jill) Rouse; grandparents, Sharon & Bernard Rouse, John Kuester (Faye), Dorothy Marcouiller; great-grandmothers, Dorothy Kuester, Kay Yagodzinski; special caregiver, Sue VanHulla; special teachers, Barb, Royce, Julie, Jean, and classmates; very special friends, Bob & Ann Markell, Bobbi & Jeff Carroll and boys; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mathew was preceded in death by his grandfather Jim Marcouiller and great-grandparents, Francis & Betty Fleischfresser and George Kuester. Visitation will be Friday, August 3, 2007, from 9:30 – 11:00 AM, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Niagara. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, at the church. Fr. Michael Betley will officiate. Burial will be in Niagara Cemetery. The fifteen years that we had with Mathew were so special. His smiling and clapping made everyone so happy, he was loved by all the kids. The family would like to thank the Niagara School System for the many years of support. A memorial will be established in Mathew's memory.
