MaryJane DeFiore, 74, of Iron Mountain, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain.
She was born February 15, 1938, in Baltimore, Md., daughter of the late Lloyd and Edna Jones. MaryJane grew up in Lake Linden, Mich., and graduated from Lake Linden High School. In 1982, she moved to Iron Mountain.
While in Iron Mountain, MaryJane operated her own adult foster care home for many years. She was a very talented person who could do just about anything.
She has been attending St. Mary & St. Joseph Catholic Church. MaryJane was a member of United Commercial Travelers. She enjoyed being around her family and friends.
MaryJane is survived by two sons, Paul King, Iron Mountain, Raymond (Darlene) King, Iron Mountain; four daughters, Theresa (Paul) Vincent, Gwinn, Sandra Lowe, Iron Mountain, Judy (Ted Blaksley) King, Lafayette, La., Stacy (Brian) Trombley, Iron Mountain; one sister, Rosalie (John) McNutt, Senath, Mo.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded by one daughter, Barbara Waters; and one brother Paul David Harvey.
Private family services were held. Burial will be in Wilson, Mich.
