Iron Mountain: Mary E. Schinderle, age 87, of Iron Mountain, Michigan, died Monday, December 29, 2003, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Mary was born May 6, 1916, in Iron Mountain, the daughter of Jacob and Julia (Pataconi) Andreoli. She married Joseph Schinderle October 23, 1934. He preceded her in death October 1, 1953. Mary was a pillar of the North side Community. She owned and operated, along with her son Ray, Schinderle Bakery for fifty-two years. She liked to cook and bake, but her greatest love was her grandchildren, family and friends. She is survived by three sons, Ray (Donna) Schinderle of Iron Mountain; Bob (Martha) Schinderle of Richland, MI, and Jerry (Mary) of Mt. Dora, Florida, two sisters Lena Marulli, and Corlinda Newingham, eight grandchildren, Mary Jo, Dean, Sara, Daeaun, Kelly, David, Amy, Steven, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Joseph, she was preceded in death by two brothers Fiore, and Nello, and two sisters Ada Rutkowski and Margaret Carozzola. Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2004, from 2 – 4:30p.m.at Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 5:00p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Iron Mountain. Msgr. James Kaczmarek will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park.
