Mary Louise Finendale (Mitzi), 84, of Iron Mountain passed away on October 6, 2024 in Durand MI after a lengthy battle with heart disease.

Mitzi was born on May 8, 1940 to Kenneth Will and Genegieve (Will) Remmington in Milwaukee, WI. After Mitzi graduated from Kingsford High School in 1958, she went on to study cosmetology. She started her full-time job as a stay-at-home mom to four children then going to work at the family business City Sales as the book keeper, kickstarting a 25-year career there.

In 1952, Mitzi met Kenneth J. Finendale (Kenny) of Kingsford, MI. Mitzi and Kenny went on to have 4 children, Perry Joseph Finendale, Brian Kenneth Finendale, Scott Alan Finendale and Donna Lynn Roberts (Finendale).

She is survived by her son, Scott Alan Finendale.

In addition to her parents, Mitzi was predeceased in death by her husband, Kenneth Joseph Finendale; sons, Perry Joseph Finendale, Brian Kenneth Finendale; and daughter, Donna Lynn Roberts (Finendale).

A graveside service will be held at Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM. The funeral procession from Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain, to Cemetery Park will begin at 9:45 a.m. A luncheon will follow the graveside at Bimbo's Wine Press 314 E Main St, Iron Mountain, MI 49801
