Mary D. Faccin, 95, Crystal Falls, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. She was born March 16, 1914, in Boston, Mass., daughter of the late Frank and Fillipina (Josephine) (nee Ferrara) Trapino Ferrari. She married Leo Faccin and he preceded her in death on August 24, 1991. Mary was a homemaker and had been a secretary for Northern Illinois Gas. Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis (Robert) Ferguson; five grandchildren, John (Catherine) Faccin, Kim (Richard) Foos , Daniel (Christine) Faccin, Phyllis Devine, Maureen Devine; seven great–grandchildren, Emily Faccin, Katie Faccin, Jeremiah (Diana) Foos, Kerry (Andrew) Kordish, Danielle Faccin, Steven Devine, Mia Bethea; five great-great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo Faccin, father, Frank Trapino, mother, Josephine Ferrari, a son Richard Faccin, daughter-in-law, Joanne Faccin, and one brother, Dominic Trapino.
