Iron Mountain- Mary G. Deloria, 78, of Iron Mountain, passed away quietly on August 14, 2022, at North Woods Place in Escanaba, Mich., under the care of UP Hospice.

Born to John and Ruth (Znorski) Campana on May 16, 1944, in Stambaugh, Mich., Mary graduated from Wm. G. Mather High School in Munising, Mich., in 1962. She went on to graduate from Northern Michigan University with a degree in music.

Mary taught briefly in Caspian before starting a long career with Breitung Township Schools. She felt great joy in teaching young people.

She is survived by siblings Julie (Ed) Johnsonbaugh of Branson, Mo., Robert (Mary Jo) Campana of Reedsville, Wisc., and Jane Hart of Twin Lake, Mich.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and twin baby brothers, John and Paul.

In accordance with Mary's wishes, private family services will be held.

The family gives special thanks to friends Debbie Poulson, Josee Humphrey, Iris Skoien, and Dan Olson, who provided support for Mary, and Arms of Angels, especially Donna and Sally.
