Florence-Mary R. Cook, age 70, of Florence, Wis., passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at her home. She was born July 26, 1948, in Norway, Mich., daughter of the late Jule and Marion (Anderson) DeGrave. Mary grew up in East Kingsford and attended Kingsford High School. On July 30, 1966, in Kingsford, she was united in marriage to Ronald Cook. They resided in Florence and Mary had worked at both Pine Mountain Lodge and Dickinson Inn in the kitchen. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, crocheting, watching tv, going to the casino and cooking. Most of all Mary loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Ron; and one sister, Margaret DeGrave, San Antonio, Texas. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Roxanne Ottinger; and two sisters, Sharon Griggs and Dorothy Lortie. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 1, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence, Wis. A memorial service will take place at 12:00 noon, at the funeral home. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Commonwealth Cemetery, Florence, Wis.
