Crystal Falls- Marvin F. Brault, 89, of Crystal Falls, Mich., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
He was born November 20, 1936, in Niagara, Wisc., to the late Alcide and Laura (Durocher) Brault. Marvin grew up and attended school in Niagara. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1955 until his honorable discharge in 1960. Marvin worked in construction for Zawada and later for Don Tousignant. He moved out to California in 1982, where he met Mary (Puckett) Duncan. They were married on June 1, 1986. Marvin and Mary moved to Michigan in 1996.
Marvin and his wife, Mary, began each day by reading scripture from the Bible. Their faith grew along with their love for one another. Marvin was an active member of Grace Sagola Church, where he was also in charge of maintenance. He enjoyed deer hunting, working on cars, fixing bikes, and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Marvin was a fix-it man and could repair anything.
Marvin is survived by his loving wife, Mary Brault; daughters, Doreen and Cathy; grandson, Brian; two great-grandchildren; Mary’s children, Lori, Phil and Denise; her granddaughter, Tannisha; and many numerous nieces, nephews and his church family.
In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by his siblings: infant sister, Mayfern; his twin sister, Marlene (Brault) Jacobson; sister Beverly (Brault) Richard; brothers, “Jug” LeRoy, Ronald and Merton.
A visitation and service will be held at Grace Sagola Church and will be announced in the near future.
