Florence- Mark J. Throm, 45, of Florence, Wis., passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, at UP Healthsystem, Marquette, Mich.

He was born January 7, 1976, in Sheldon, Iowa, son of Mark and Joan (Kamstra) Throm. Mark grew up in Florence and was a graduate of Florence High School, class of 1994. Mark then went on to attend Fox Valley Tech for CAD. He enjoyed playing pool and chess.

Survivors include his father, Mark Throm; his mother, Joan (Jim Burkart) Throm; one son, Isaiah Throm; three brothers, Jason Throm, Dan (Nikki) Throm, and Peter (Melissa) Throm; one sister, Angie Throm; grandmother, Eleanor Kamstra; and by three nieces, Angel Throm, Taryn Throm, and Raina Schultz; and five nephews, Dawson Throm, Carter Throm, Ashton Haberkorn, Peter Throm, and Maxwell Throm.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence, Wis. A memorial service will take place Saturday, 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
