Iron Mountain-Mark D. Grossmann, 34, of Iron Mountain, Mich., longtime resident of Florence, Wis., passed away Friday, June 5, 2020, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born February 28, 1986, in Chicago Heights, Ill., son of Timothy and Donna (Callow) Grossmann. Mark grew up and attended school in Florence. He was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Florence. Mark had been working for Northern Products in their saw mill since 2016.
Over the years Mark had enjoyed hunting, working and fixing cars, as well as anything else automotive. He loved motorcycles, riding, and all the outdoors had to offer.
He is survived by his parents, Tim and Donna Grossmann; his children, Mark Jr. and Elizabeth McElvain; one brother, Matt Grossmann; his grandmother, Ruth Callow; two uncles, Marty Grossmann and Rick Callow; one niece Vicki, all of Florence; and his beloved dog, Happy.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence. Private family services will be held at the funeral home. Rev. Jason Liebenow will officiate. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery, Florence, at a later date.
