Marion T. Feldhausen, 89, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Maryhill Manor, Niagara.
She was born on January 15, 1922, in Sun Prairie, Wis., daughter of the late Elvie and Christina (Weidemann) Napstad. Marion married Gordon Feldhausen on November 7, 1942, in Madison, Wis. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2007. They moved to Iron Mountain in 1960.
Marion was the President of the Dickinson County Hospital League. She was a member of the Iron Mountain/Kingsford Women's Club, Senior Citizen's Council, Northwoods Garden Club, and was a community leader.
She is survived by four sons, Nicholas Feldhausen, Green Bay, Wis., Michael (Sharon) Feldhausen, Iron Mountain, Paul (Cheryl) Feldhausen, Milwaukee, Wis., Geoff (Judy) Feldhausen, Streamwood, Ill.; one daughter, Christine Doyle, Green Bay; one brother-in-law, Richard Rutten, Sturgeon Bay, Wis.; twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Marion was preceded by one sister, Evelyn Boelter.
Visitation will be Friday, May 13, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. David Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain.
