Crystal Falls- Marilyn I. Smokevitch, age 80, of Crystal Falls, Mich., passed away Monday, August 26, 2019, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls, Mich. She was born May 21, 1939, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Harold and Harriett (King) Frank. Marilyn was united in marriage to Albert J. Smokevitch on November 12, 1988 in Hermansville, Mich. She enjoyed reading, cooking and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Albert J. Smokevitch, Crystal Falls, Mich.; two sons, Vernon (Kari) Miller, Kingsford, Mich. and Dan (Jennifer) Miller, Aurora, Wis.; two daughters, Debbie Miller, San Angelo, Texas and Pam ( Dale Bilski) Miller, Niagara, Wis.; one brother, David Frank, Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Sharon McIntosh, Seattle, Wash. and Michelle Frank, Seattle, Wash.; and by seven grandchildren Jim (Jacque) Burke, Aaron (Jennifer) Wojdyla, Dianna Kalczynski, Elizabeth (Doug) Tayler, Jessica Stubsjoen, Crystal (Jon) Allen, Dustin (Shanyn) Miller; and ten great-grandchildren, Kindred, Sawyer, Eden, Dominic, Corey Jr., Caleb, Mason, Sutton, Eve and Walker. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Crystal Falls, Mich. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls, Mich. Rev. Fr. Dan Malone will officiate. Burial will take place in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls, Mich.
