Crystal Falls: Marie Dascola Schultz Walker, age 88, of Iron River, Michigan, died Tuesday, November 25, 2003, at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. Marie was born on September 18, 1915, in Stambaugh, Michigan, daughter of the late Tony and Amelia (Amarela) Dascola. She married Irwin Anthony Schultz in August of 1933. Crystal Falls, MI. Marie later married Edward Walker of Antioch, Illinois, on March 24, 1973. She was a member of St Cecilia's Catholic church in Caspian, and a member of the Mothers Club in Caspian. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family whom she loved so much. Marie is survived by her husband Ed, nine children Bonnie (John) Baldwin of Iron River, Michigan; CeCe (Murray) Lance of Atlanta, Georgia; Mary Lee (Jim) Baldwin of Clarkston, MI., Mike (Sonya) Schultz of Atlanta, Georgia.,Ervin (Sheila) Schultz of Palatine, Illinois; Betty Lou Mc Arthur and friend Bob Johnson of Crystal Falls, Michigan; Bootsie (Donald) Toti of Marquette, Michigan; Clarice Gagnea of Kingsford, Michigan; six step-children: Linda and Lloyd of Salt Lake City, Utah; Pam and Pat of Waukegan, Illinois; Jim and Sue of Rolling Meadows, Illinois; Cindy and Glenn of Palatine, Illinois; Robert Walker and Michael Walker of Waukegan, Illinois. Two brothers Joseph (Dorothy) Dascola and Domenic Dascola all of Ann Arbor, Michigan. She leaves many grandchildren, Vicki Lynn, Jaime Lynn, Jennifer Lynn, Robie, Mike, Christopher, Colleen, Cora, Kelly, Mike and Pat, Cindy, Sean and Eric, Gina, Joey, Gloria, Mary, Jan, Carol, Doody, and John Michael, Charlie, Charliesun, Shayla, Christopher, Colleen, Cara and Kelly. A son in law Ronald Johnson of Zion, IL. A special niece Patsy Ann Cederna of South Carolina, and nephews Donald, Paul and Jack Jacobs. One brother in law Thornton (Helen) Schultz of Argonne, WI. A very special friend for 85 years Mary Johns and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Delorese Johnson, two brothers Roosevelt Dascola, Ernest Dascola and Patsy Dascola. One sister Doris Jacobs. A son-in-law Jack Gagnea. Visitation will be Friday, December 5, 2003, from 5 - 7 P.M. at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home in Crystal Falls. Prayers will be recited at 5:30P.M. at the Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, December 6, 2003, 9:30A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Caspian, Michigan. Fr. Norman Clisch will officiate. Burial will be in Stambaugh Cemetery in Stambaugh, Michigan.
