Marie M. Poulin, 91, of Florence, Wis., passed away Monday, April 25, 2011, at Golden Living Center, Florence.
She was born on June 6, 1919, in Nadeau, Mich., daughter of the late Albert and Adeline (Piche) Rouse. Marie married Earnest Poulin in 1969, in Florence. He preceded her in death in 1990.
Marie lived in Florence since 1969. She was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she served on the St. Mary Alter Society. She was a member of the Young at Heart Group with the Senior Center, Florence. Marie had been a housekeeper for Fr. Gino Ferraro for many years prior to her marriage to Earnest.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Marie was preceded in death by four brothers, Earl (Julia) Rouse, Raymond (Anna) Rouse, Frederick (Margaret) Rouse, Dr. Paul Rouse; four sisters, Marian Lahay, Betty Ritter, Sister Marie Therese Rouse, and Sister Mary Paul Rouse.
The visitation will be Friday, April 29, 2011, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Florence. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Friday at the Church. Rev. Joseph Gouin will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Commonwealth, Wis.
