Crystal Falls- Marian L. Carlotto, 81, of Crystal Falls, Mich., passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility.

She was born November 19, 1944, in Stambaugh, Mich., daughter of the late Milton and Viola (Larson) Bengry. Marian was a longtime resident of Crystal Falls and was a teacher's aide at Crystal Falls School. She married Patrick Carlotto on October 9, 1965.

Marian was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include her loving husband, Patrick; her son, Patrick James (Kristy) Carlotto; one brother, Gerald (Nancy) Bengry; one sister, Janet Wells; and six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by one son, Michael Carlotto.

A visitation will take place on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls, Mich. A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Vicky Prewitt will officiate.
