Kingsford- Marguerite E. Reiten, 94, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Friday, September 9, 2022, at Maryhill Manor, Niagara, Wis.

She was born September 8, 1928, in Iron Mountain, Mich., a daughter of the late Rudolph and Marguerite (Jaehnig) Peterson.

Marguerite was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Iron Mountain High School, class of 1946. She was united in marriage to Robert Reiten. He preceded her in death in 1995.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and had worked many years in the meat department at Red Owl. She also worked for a number of years as a Floral Designer at Miller Floral in Kingsford, Mich.

Survivors include one son, Robert (Liz) Reiten, Hudson, Florida; one daughter, Jan (Allan) Zablocki, Kingsford, Mich.; nine grandchildren, Emily Rudd-Ellenbecker (Thomas), Sarah, Katie, Lindsee, Roger, Jr., and Chris, Casey, and Cyle Zablocki, and Bryon Baker; and nine great-grandchildren, Stuart, Marin, Silas, Fletcher, Michaela, Lauren, Zoey, Zara, and Zola; and her beloved nieces and nephews; she also leaves Drs. Vijay and Francoise Singh and family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Robert, she was preceded in death by one son, Roger Reiten; five sisters, Charlotte Johnson, Dee LaRoux, Jean Conte, Dorothy Manko, and Carmen Swanson; and a brother, Frank Peterson.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11 a.m., on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Iron Mountain, Mich. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the church with Pastor Geri Hamlen officiating.
