Florence: Marguerite Johnson, age 94, of Florence, Wisconsin, died Friday, August 8, 2003, following a brief illness, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain, MI. Marguerite was born January 8, 1909, in Menominee, Michigan, daughter of the late Henry and Theresa (Gorman) Collard. She grew up in Menominee, and moved to Florence in 1937. Her husband Walfred preceded her in death on January 4, 1996. Marguerite is survived by one step-daughter Arline (Raymond) Coleman of Schofield, WI. One brother Dennis (June) Collard of Menominee, MI, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Walfred, she was preceded in death by one brother Henry Collard and three sisters Dorothy Wood, Rialta Schoener, and Lorraine Zoellner. Visitation will be Monday, August 11, 2003, from 10-11a.m. at the Jacobs Lundholm Funeral Home in Florence, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. on August 11, 2003, at the funeral home with Pastor Doug Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee, MI.
