Margie Bieszczat, age 91, of Crystal Falls, and formerly of Amasa, Mich. died early Monday, June 20, 2005 at the Iron County Community Hospital in Iron River. She was born May 24, 1914 in Amasa, daughter of the late Arvid and Mary (Werly) Peterson. On November 29, 1941 she married Stanley Bieszczat. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1987. Margie graduated from Amasa High School in 1932. Survivors include one son, Michael(Rosalind) Bieszczat, Chicago, Ill; one sister-in-law, Lucille Peterson, Amasa, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Stanley Bieszczat; two brothers, Odin Peterson and Ralph Peterson; one sister, Mae Curry, and a brother-in-law, Albert Curry. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2005 at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. Rev. Stephen Rhoades will officiate. Burial will be in the Amasa Cemetery.
