Margaret June Thoresen, after 88 years of joys, much love, sorrow, mischief and adventure, followed the angels home. She was born June 6, 1920, in Dafter, Mich., daughter of the late Aaron and May (Gilroy) Warren. Margaret attended school in Sault Ste Marie, Mich. She married Garfield Thoresen on May 19, 1938, in St. Ignace, Mich. She resided in Sault Ste Marie and moved to Ohio in the late 1960's. During their retirement years, Margaret and Garfield made their home in Quinnesec, Mich. and Peoria, Ariz. Margaret's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and pets. She also enjoyed reading, puzzles, music, crocheting, and traveling. She shared her love and brought much happiness to us all. She will be dearly missed. Margaret will be welcomed home by her husband, Garfield Thoresen and by three of her beloved children; Gary Thoresen, Rhonda Heikkinen and Sharon Heikkinen as well as her parents and four siblings. Left behind to celebrate her life and cherish the memories is her daughter, Carol Coates, Norway, Mich.; one brother William Warren, Millington, Mich.; 11 grandchildren, Scott Thoresen, DePere, Wis., Rhonda Coates, Peoria, Ariz., Lee Coates, Mindy Thoresen-Sertich, Eric Coates, all of Norway, Mathew Heikkinen, Abilene, Tex., Rick Schramm, Sonja Soto, both of Anthem, Ariz., Daymon Pancheri, Appleton, Wis., Christopher Heikkinen, Peoria, Ariz., Robert Heikkinen, Fargo, N.D.; and 17 great-grandchildren.
