Crystal Falls: Mae Nicholson, age 91, of Crystal Falls, passed away Monday, January 24, 2005, at the Iron County Medical Facility in Crystal Falls. She was born December 27, 1913, in Florence, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Fred and Frieda (Pultz) Miller. She married Stanley Nicholson in 1957, and he preceded her in death. Survivors include a son Ronald (Janette) Nicholson of Washington, two grandchildren, and four brothers Robert (Jean) Miller of Kingsford, MI, James Miller of Alpha, MI, Charles Miller of Alpha, MI, and William Miller of Alpha, MI and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Stanley, she was preceded in death by four brothers; Fred Jr., John, Wilbur, and Clarence, and one sister Marie. Visitation will be held Friday, January 28, 2005, from 10:00 to 11:00a.m. at the Jacobs- Plowe Funeral Home in Crystal Falls. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Rhoades of Christ United Methodist Church of Crystal Falls officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Crystal Falls.
