Florence: Mae DeMark, age 99, of Florence, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, January 20, 2004, at Florence Villa Nursing Home in Florence. Mae was born June 1, 1904, in Sioux City, Iowa, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Frank Martin. Mae married Mike DeMark in 1926 in Chicago. Mike preceded her in death on September 22, 1979. Mae along with her husband Mike, resided in Chicago until they retired in 1968. They moved to Florence, Wisconsin in 1969. Mae was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Florence. She enjoyed picking berries, baking and traveling. She is survived by three sons; Roland of Conyers, Georgia, Ramon (Judy) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Larry (Cheryl) of St. Paul, Minnesota, eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband Mike, Mae is preceded by two brothers Al and Raymond Martin, and one sister Lenore Bail. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 21, 2004, 5 – 7 P.M. at the Jacobs- Lundholm Funeral Home in Florence. Funeral services will be at 6:30P.M. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home in Florence. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Commonwealth, Wisconsin.
