Iron Mountain:
Madeline Rose Cavicchioni, age 100, of Iron Mountain, died Tuesday, January 20, 2004, at Manor Care Health Services in Kingsford.
Madeline was born on February 22, 1903, in Iron Mountain, Michigan, daughter of the late Ferdinand and Margaret (Bianchi) Badini. Madeline was a life long resident of Iron Mountain. She married Mariano Cavicchioni in 1919 in Iron Mountain. He preceded her in death on October 2, 1989. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, but most of all taking care and spending time with her grandchildren.
Madeline is survived by two sons, Frank (Julia) and Eugene (Helen) both of Iron Mountain, one brother Mario (Mary) Badini, one daughter-in-law Estella Cavicchioni, eight grandchildren; Judy (Bob) Sanicki of Niagara, Kristina (Normand) Fontaine of Brainerd, MN, Debbie (Mike) Church of Kingsford, Renee Tousignant of Kingsford, Daniel J.(Donna) Cavicchioni II of Tucson, AZ, Madeleine (Anthony) Crespo of Baytown, TX, Jim Cavicchioni of Iron Mountain, and David (Kelly) Cavicchioni of Chicago, thirteen great-grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband Mariano, she was preceded in death by one son, Daniel, one daughter Evelyn Tousignant, one grandson Rocky Cavicchioni, six brothers, Anton, John, Joseph, Arthur, Frank, and Chester Badini, two sisters Mary Furno, and Jenny Minutello.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 22, 2004, from 12 - 1P.M. at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Funeral services will be Thursday, at 1:00P.M. at the Jacobs Funeral Home. Father Leonard Cornelius will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain.
