Pembine: Mabel O. Nushart, age 87, of Pembine, Wis., died Friday, March 25, 2005, at Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain, MI. She was born September 9, 1917, in Neenah, daughter of the late Elmer J. and Martha (Luka) Boreson. On October 27, 1937, she married Richard Nushart at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Menasha. He preceded her in death on February 3, 1996. Mabel attended Menasha area schools and graduated from Neenah High School in 1935. Mabel and Richard lived in Kaukauna from 1937 to 1998 and then moved to Pembine. She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church, Pembine and enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Survivors include two sons, Richard (Mary) Nushart, James (Carol) Nushart, all of Pembine; nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; one sister, Margaret (Dan) Kolosso, Appleton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard, three brothers, Arthur, Howard and Walter Boreson and a sister Bernice Lind. The Funeral Mass will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna. Rev. Fr. Michael Betley will officiate. Burial will be in the Pembine Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna. Additional visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Catholic Church, Pembine. Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara, WI is in charge of arrangements.
