In Loving Memory of Luis Alexander Church, 12, of Aurora, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025.

Born on October 4, 2012, in OKC, Oklahoma, at OU Medical Center, Luis was the beloved son of Brandon and Leiani (Crowder) Church. He resided his first 10 years in Mustang, Okla., and attended Mustang Elementary School, before moving to Florence County.

Luis had a love for the outdoors, especially fishing, his favorite pastime with his family. He was always the first one awake on fishing trips, ready to catch breakfast for everyone. He also enjoyed Jiu-Jitsu, baseball, basketball, and loved camping adventures with his grandparents. His joyful spirit shone through in the kitchen, where he loved baking with his grandma and Dad. His adventurous nature and generous heart inspired those around him, leaving behind cherished memories that will be held close.

Luis is survived by his loving parents, Brandon Church and Leiani Church; brothers, Oliver Church, Ben Church; great-grandmother, Loretta Gould; grandparents, Gerard and Linda Church, Josue Arroyo; aunts, Lori (Shawn) Hanson, Victoria (Adam) Anderson, Jennifer (Grant) Tsuchiya, Martha (Aaron) Gomez, Keren Gomez (Jesus), Pricila (Abdiel) Serrano; uncles Jacob (Sarah) Church, James Davis, Chris Arroyo; honorary uncles Jason (Kerri) Norbotten, Michael Dobbs, Brennan (Jackie) Moats, and numerous cousins. His adventurous nature and spirited heart inspired those around him, leaving behind memories that will be held close.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Burial will take place at 3:30 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2025, at Aurora Cemetery.
