Lucille Pataconi, age 85, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away Saturday, April 22, 2006, at her home. She was born March 27, 1921, in Iron Mountain, the daughter of the late August and Lucia (Bevilacqua) Priante. She married William Pataconi at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in 1937. He preceded her in death on December 30, 1993. Lucille was a life long member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Iron Mountain. She enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching at her feeder, and loved to read. She will be greatly missed by her family. Survivors include two sons, Richard (Joan) Pataconi, Iron Mountain, David (Julie) Pataconi, Kingsford; one daughter, Karin (Lloyd) Gauthier, Iron Mountain; two sisters, Susan (Richard) Reath of Grand Rapids, Mich., Rosemarie (Don) Pedo, Iron Mountain; 11 grandchildren, Lloyd (Mary) Gauthier, Susan (Gary) Mulgrew, Lori Gauthier, Matthew Pataconi, Joanna (Nolan) Murphy, Martin (Chris) Pataconi, Karyn Pataconi, Brent Pataconi, Kylie Pataconi, Bradley Pataconi and Brayden Pataconi; four great-grandchildren, Anthony, Emilee, Ethan, Ellen; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 26, 2006, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home. Prayers will be recited at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Iron Mountain. Msgr. James Kaczmarek will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain.
