Louise Josephine Cesario Walker

Born in Sopras, Colorado May 8, 1918

Went home to be with the Lord December 6, 2003

She was the youngest and last of the fifteen children of the late Joseph Cesario and Tomasina Lucetta Cesario of San Fele, Italy. Louise married Wayne William Walker of Energy, Illinois in 1942, who preceded her in death in 1974.

Louise is survived by two daughters Sandra Marie Walker Bauman of Williamston, Michigan, and Helen Ann Walker Wood of Boulder, Colorado, and one son Wilson W. Walker of Crystal Falls, Michigan. She is also survived by a grandson Ronald Wayne Bowman and wife Sherri of Springhill, Florida, and great-grandchildren Ronald Wayne Floyd Bowman of Potterville, Michigan and Sierra Geraldine Bowman of Springhill, Florida, a stepsister Esolda Mercer of Port Orange, Florida and many nieces and nephews, including Angela Cesario of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Charles and James Diemer of California.

Louise started a new life in Crystal Falls in 1974, working at the Senior Citizens Center, which was the focus of her social life until retirement in 1997.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 13th, 2003, at 11:00a.m. at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home in Crystal Falls, with the Rev. Dr. Arthur Puotinin officiating. There will be visitation an hour before, from 10:00a.m. until the time of service.

Inurnment will be at the Mountain View Cemetery in Boulder, Colorado.

Her family kindly requests donations are made to the American Cancer Society, Dickinson County Unit, 1320 South Carpenter Avenue, Iron Mountain, Michigan 49801 in lieu of flowers and gifts.
