Louie F. Avery, 95, Niagara, Wis., and formerly of Sagola, Mich., passed away Monday, January 12, 2009, at Maryhill Manor, Niagara. She was born February 17, 1913, in Gowan, Mich., daughter of the late Percy and Ida (Heltsel) Lockwood. On October 15, 1932, she married Frederick Avery in Lyons, Mich. He preceded her in death. Survivors include, two daughters, Martha (John) Strachan, Thornton, Colo., Rose Mary (Max) Crespo, Frederick, Md.; one son, Lyle (Erika) Avery, Portland, Mich.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two daughters, Rebecca L. and Janet K. Avery.
