Kingsford: Loretta Catherine Walters, age 91, of Kingsford, passed away Monday, June 27, 2005, at AGI Health Care in Crandon, Wisconsin. She was born October 15, 1913, in Monico, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Jake and Ellen (Roughan) Grossman. She married Kenneth Walters and they resided in Kingsford until they moved to Detroit. Loretta was employed at Federals Department Store. They moved back to Kingsford in 1950. She was a member of American Martyrs Catholic Church and the Royal Neighbors. She is survived by one sister-in-law Katherine Grossman of Florida, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Besides her parents Loretta was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, a son James Dale in 1988, a daughter June Thurman in 1987, her brother Clair Grossman, and sisters June Grossman and Enola Grossman. Visitation will be Thursday, 12:00-1:00p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Funeral services will be at 1:00p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home. Father Joseph Gouin will officiate. Burial will be in Breitung Township Cemetery in Quinnesec, Michigan.
