Lois G. (Garvaglia) Sielaff, 82, of La Grange Park, Ill., formerly of Niagara, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Eve Assisted Living, Hinsdale, Ill.
Beloved wife of the late Raymond Sielaff; fond mother of Lynn (Robert) Blazek, John (Cindy) Sielaff and Julie (John) Mikel; dear grandmother of Adam Blazek, Alex Blazek, Rachel Sielaff, Andrew Sielaff, Natalie Sielaff and Morgan Sielaff; sister of Raymond (Cary) Garvaglia, Ted (Judy) Garvaglia and Rick Gunville; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Long time parishioner of St. Louise de Marillac Church and member of the Womens Club. Retired teacher of Immaculate Heart of Mary High School in Westchester.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 18, 2014, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 W. 31st St., Brookfield, IL 60513. Visitation will also be held Saturday, December 20, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Niagara. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Matt Settle will officiate. Burial will be in Niagara Cemetery, Niagara.
