Lois L. Hale, 85, of Wausaukee, Wis., passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain.
She was born July 23, 1924, in Seward, Ill., daughter of the late Henry and Lois (Wright) Fibrow. Lois grew up in Rockford, Ill., and graduated from West High School. She married Lamont Hale on December 25, 1943, in Rockford. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2007.
Lois and Lamont resided in the Rockford area until May of 1980, when they moved to Amberg, Wis. Lois was very artistic and enjoyed oil painting. She also enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog, Casper.
Survivors include one son, Ronald (Judith) Hale, Belvidere, Ill.; two daughters, Patricia (Rodney) Busche, Roscoe, Ill., Jeannette Hale, Rockford; one sister, Betty Fibrow, Calif.; six grandchildren, Michael, Christopher (Sarah), Kurtis, Nicole, Craig, Carrie (Arquimides); four great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Cecelia, Charles, Henry; many nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by two brothers, Darwin and Charles Fibrow.
