Ontonagon- Lisa A. (Westman) Nowicki, 61, of Ontonagon, Mich., passed away Monday, February 22, 2021, at Florence Health Services, Florence, Wis. She was born May 13, 1959, in Dickinson County, daughter of Harold and Alice (Vasser) Westman. Lisa grew up in Florence and was a graduate of Florence High School, class of 1977. She was united in marriage to Robert Nowicki on September 1, 1989. Together, they had farmed in Green, Mich. for 30 years with their children. Lisa managed the Foothills Bar in Silver City, Mich., and later worked for Copper County Mental Health in Ontonagon. Lisa's passion was horses; she enjoyed riding and going to horse shows. Lisa especially enjoyed the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to camp, fishing, spending time in the outdoors, and riding Harleys with her husband. Lisa will be remembered for her work ethic. Survivors include her husband, Robert Nowicki, Green, Mich.; her mother, Alice Westman Florence, Wis.; one son, Brian (Rachel) Nowicki, Ironwood, Mich.; two daughters, Bobbie Nowicki, Ohio and Billie Jo (Steve) Kurtz, Spread Eagle, Wis.; grandchildren, Kyle, Kodie, Morgan, Jaimisen, Izaiha and Autumn Nowicki, Robert Pomeroy, and Caitlin Kurtz; one great-grandson, Kaiden Cheney; one sister, Wanda (Jack) Ellis, Aurora, Wis.; two brothers, Scotty Westman, Ironwood, Mich., and Bob (Val) Westman, Aurora, Wis.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
