Obituary

Linda L. Lawson, 68, of Iron Mountain, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, Wis. She was born September 6, 1944, in Chicago, Ill., daughter of the late Ernest and Agnes (Anderson) Gustavson. Linda grew up in Chicago and graduated high school there. She resided in Chicago until 2009, at which time she moved to Iron Mountain. While living in Chicago, Linda worked for the Gift of Hope Organization for over twenty years holding the position as executive assistant to the president. She was a member of the Elks Lodge 700 in Iron Mountain, serving as secretary. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Linda is survived by one son, Richard Sammartino, Chicago; one daughter Amy Sammartino, El Cerrito, Calif.; and loving companion, her cat Lucy. Celebration of life, with family and friends all invited, will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Linda's home, N3905 Pine Mountain Road, Lot 3, Iron Mountain, MI. Burial will be in Felch Cemetery, Felch, Mich.
