Lillian I. Rahling, 89, of Crystal Falls, Mich., passed away Monday, June 12, 2017, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. She was born November 16, 1927, in Daggett, Mich., daughter of the late George and Della (Burt) Jacobson. Lillian graduated from Daggett High School in Daggett, Mich. She was united in marriage to Robert Rahling in 1959 in Waukegan, Ill. He preceded her in death on September 22, 2013. Lillian was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. She was also a vocalist who enjoyed singing in the Abbots Choir. Survivors include her two sons, Robert (Lori Mengler) Rahling, Crystal Falls, Mich. and John Rahling, Appleton, Wis.; one brother, Tom Jacobson; and by one sister, Marge Grube. In addition to her parents and husband, Lillian was preceded in death by one son, David Rahling in 1989; two brothers, Jim and Burt Jacobson; and by one sister Ethel Masonic. Visitation will be Saturday, June 17, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
