Lillian Poulos, age 82, of Crystal Falls, died Thursday, January 4, 2007, at the Iron County Community Hospital, Iron River. She was born March 11, 1924, in Crystal Falls daughter of the late Asaria and Hedwig (Seppa) Lahikainen of the Fortune Lake area. Lillian graduated from the Crystal Falls High School. During WW II she was a riveter on bombers in Detroit. Upon her return to Crystal Falls she was a physical therapist and nursing assistant at the Iron County Medical Care Facility and the former Crystal Manor. Survivors include one brother, Robert (Audrey) Laken, Gwinn; a niece Helen (Raymond) Barnett, Crystal Falls other nieces and nephews in Gwinn; and grandnephews, Allan, Ernest and Michael Barnett. Her parents, two brothers, Oliver, Nilo; and two sisters, Aili and Marian, preceded her in death. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls.
