Lillian Mohr, 86, Florence, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Michigan.
She was born December 11, 1923, in Crandon, Wis., daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude (LaRock) Wilber. Lillian grew up and attended school in Crandon. She lived in Laona for many years before moving to Florence in 1963.
Lillian was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Florence, and the VFW Woman's Auxillary, Laona. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, taking care of her cat, Georgette, and especially taking care of the many children she babysat. Lillian was a loving person, and was affectionately called "Grandma" by many. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by two daughters, Ginny (Tony) Dollar, Florence, Peggy (Ted) Hetzer, Crystal Falls; three sons, Frank (Judy) Mohr, Laona, David (Ruthann) Mohr, Pembine, Mark (Arlene) Mohr, Florence; four brothers, Wayne Wilber, Radisson, Wis., Jack Wilber, Crandon, Len (Edith) Wilber, Sturgeon Bay, Wis., Dale (Marge) Wilber, Ewen, Mich.; thirteen grandchildren, Kenny (Tammy) Mohr, Kathy Mohr, Jackie (Dave) Bonetti, Tom (Maggie) Mohr, Angela Mohr, Bob Miller, Lana Miller, Charles Hetzer, Dillon Hetzer, Darron Hetzer, Katie (Wes) Nichols, Steven (Sara) Nichols, Becky Mohr; 22 great-grandchildren, Natasha and Kent Mohr, Lindsey and Christopher Mohr, Chad and Dallas Bonetti, Meakayla, Damiana, Patrick, Matthew Allen, and Matthew Michael Mohr, Hallee Hetzer, Cheyanne Miller, Cullen Mitchem, Taven and Kaylyn Nichols, Katelyn Mohr, Nicole, Lucas, and Trinity Mohr, Valerie Davis, Victoria Williams; four great great-grandchildren, Wyatt Collins, Kaylynn Johnson, Ayiva Davis, Damon Lewis; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Mohr, Florence; close friends, Betty Fuller and family, Doris Schuirmann and family, Maria McLain, Judy Rochon; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lillian was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Mohr, Charles Mohr; two sisters, Edith Adams, Laura McNutt; a grandson, David Mohr; five brothers, Charles, Floyd, Harvey, Harley, and Derl Wilber; a daughter-in-law, Doreen Mohr; sister-in-law, Pat Wilber; two brothers-in-law, Herb Adams and Ike McNutt.
