Lester L. Peppler, 57, of Vulcan, Mich., passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at his home. He was born November 10, 1951, in Norway, Mich., son of Melvin and the late Pauline (Mish) Peppler. Lester attended school in Norway and graduated from Norway High School, Class of 1969. He served in the United States Army and was also a member of the National Guard. Lester worked at Grede Foundry for 30 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 145, Norway. He is survived by one brother, Roger (Diane) Peppler, Vulcan; five sisters, Donna Husong, Oklahoma, Barbara Blazier, Iron Mountain, Janice Peppler, Mary (Carl) Horne, all of North Carolina, Pauline Peppler, Two Rivers, Wis.; several nieces and nephews.
