Iron River - LeRoy A. Lang, 81, of Iron River, Mich., died on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the Iron River Care Center, Iron River, Mich.

He was born October 13, 1941, in Stambaugh, Mich., the son of Allan W. and Enola D. (Pagel) Lang. He graduated from Amasa High School, class of 1960. After graduation, he enlisted in the Army for two years. Following his discharge, LeRoy came back to Amasa to work with his father in the logging business. He later moved to Iron River and worked at the Ski Brule.

In his retirement, he spent many hours watching old westerns on television.

He is survived by his two sisters, Beverley Dallafior of Amasa, Mich., and Elaine Ketole of Suamico, Wisc.

In addition to his parents, LeRoy was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Lang; sister-in-law, Sandy Lang; and brother-in-law, Frank Dallafior.

In accordance with LeRoy's wishes, no services will take place.
